What to Send for an Accurate Quote

Photos and Access Measurements

Take wide photos of the work area from a few angles, plus the route a machine would take from the street. Measure the narrowest gate or side-yard opening, and note overhead wires, steep slopes, trees and anything buried that you know about, such as a septic tank or sprinkler lines.

Drawings, Surveys and Permits

Send a site plan, survey, grading plan or engineer's drawings if you have them, plus any building permit already issued. For a septic job, the designer's layout gives the tank and bed size for septic system excavation, and for an addition, the footing depth on the drawings sets the price of the foundation dig.

Timeline and Budget

Tell us your preferred start window and whether a concrete crew, framer or pool installer is booked behind us. A rough budget helps too, because it lets us suggest options such as reusing soil on site for grading and levelling instead of paying to haul it away.
